Just because our children are talented that doesn’t mean they will have opportunities to succeed. That’s why it’s so important for someone like @misturlee , who’s doing such inspiring work for the community through running to show up with the @runforchinatown team this morning to support the first annual IS223 5K Classic fundraiser benefitting their running program coached by Coach Sorocco. It was so much fun racing with and cheering for the kids. One of my favorite moments was about half a mile in when the chase pack of @jonahreisner @everson_xc and Ryan were discussing if they should hang on to the leader at time, Mohammad or wait. These kids ran such a smart race and have such a bright future ahead of them. Keep chasing your dreams because the possibilities are endless like the Shore Parkway Promanade - at least that’s what it felt like for my tired legs haha!
