“How long have you been having these nightmares?” (hey kid, thanks for following back ;) )
Henry still couldn’t quite believe he was talking to anyoneabout his nightmares. Sure, he hadn’t disclosed any specifics yet, and hereally did need to tell someone. He hadn’t meant to tell August, or anyone, butit had just kind of come out when the older man noticed how tired Henry looked.“A while,” he admitted quietly, not looking at August. It was hard for him totalk about this, after all; typically heroes didn’t have nightmares. Everyonewould tell him he was expecting too much of himself, he knew, but none of themfelt he was strong enough to help protect the town. His nightmares would justprove them right. “I … I’m fine though. They’ll probably stop soon,” hemuttered, knowing full well they wouldn’t. He just didn’t know if he wanted totalk about this with anyone.
