It’s eight-ish months since I’ve had my suprapubic catheter out and I still feel weird trying to sleep on my left side... I keep panicking that I’m pulling the tube! I imagine it’s a little like phantom limb syndrome; the tube was there so long it felt like a part of my body, a part of me, and whilst I’m very glad it’s gone, I still sometimes miss it... It’s weird and annoying!
