I am at the 40% mark and I haven’t gotten today’s session in.

So, compared to the movie, it is pretty spot on. Honestly, the differences are very minor and you get a little more insight into Ripley’s way of thinking. Which tells me it was a good film adaptation. 

I still have over half the book to go, so things could definitely change. So, while I don’t dislike the book at all, I know so far what should happen, so it isn’t overly interesting to me. I think if I had read this without the knowledge of the movie, I would probably read it faster.

Since I like the writing so far, I am sure I will end up reading the other books in her Ripley series.
