I thought it would be fun to see my saved quotes on my homescreen.
Thought it would be sweet reminders of books I’ve enjoyed. Instead it’s just pain and sadness.
Here’s all the books I finished in October! I would’ve liked to finish another during the readathon, but oh well. I did hit my goal of reading more than fifteen hours for the Halloween readathon, though!
me: i’ll use bookly to write down my meaningful observations and predictions while reading
also me:
What I read in May.
QOTD: Have you ever had a blind date with a book? @booklyau recently #gifted me my very first! And they chose so well!! Swipe to see which book I got. It's very pink and is a book @happyindulgence has recommended to me more than once! Hopefully I get to it soon. If you're interested, @booklyau is a blind date with a book subscription service. Sign up and more details can be found in my linktree (see my bio) but essentially you tell them what books you like and they'll choose a book just for you ever month! //CHALLENGES// #Bookishbellesapr21 - Book That Was Gifted //HASHTAGS// #blinddatewithabook #surprises #blinddate #bookworm #booklover #bookly #booklyau #loveozya #auskiwibooksta #bookstagram #bookstagrammer #reading #bookstack #bookpile #waichim #tbrpile #bookhaul #acosf #chainofiron #acourtofsilverflames https://www.instagram.com/p/CNRz9caLguT/?igshid=l0l037w0x4zz
The Song of Achilles had been on my TBR for so long and I picked this for bookly winter readathon!!!
I'm very regret that I didn't pick this up sooner!!! 😓
I really like how Madeline Miller retold Achilles and Patroclus' story.🤩 The Song of Achilles is heartbreaking yet beautiful. The portrayal of Achilles from Patroclus' view is humane and sympathetic. We get to experience the Trojan War and meet all the legendary heroes and kings through Patroclus. But it is Patroclus who proved again, and again that he is the best of them all.😊
If you haven't read this book, read it now! I can guarantee The Song of Achilles is an excellent read!❤️
To those of you who read it, leave your thoughts! 📝 Can't wait to hear from you guys! 😀
I finally read RWRB!! I loved it. I rarely like Enemies to Lovers, but I loved the way it was handled in this one. I also just love the dialogue because it was very realistic to me. I talk to my friends and family in the same way, so it just felt very genuine.
Was the ending a little extra and a little too sweet, yes! But I still loved it and I could see myself rereading it for a fun read, so I might need to buy a copy.
