There's an invest in the Mediterranean
for those who care an invest is the stage before a depression, which is the stage before a tropical storm which is before hurricane
although this invest is extropical and would be designated as a tropical storm instantly if it had a warm enough core.
But the location is freaky
I have never heard of an invest or tropical cyclone in the Mediterranean, although there is a neat picture of an ex-tropical cyclone with an eye over it.
