Surface Test 1

My first adventure following along Sarah Urist Green’s book You Are An Artist.

These are some surfaces along my walk to/from my door. I only had small paper on hand but I wanted to give this a shot. I’d like to try again soon with larger paper.

I spent four days in a cold old military building, the floor had beautiful cracks in it. I decided to use my time embroidering.

Surface Test

When I started crew last year, I had no idea how amazing it was to be on the water. This lake was Unknown to me. Normally, there would be a boat docked and everyone is starting to put oars away and their shoes on, but that’s all during spring. This is my past (mistakes and celebrations) and my future (college and new friends). Rowing is life!
