Imprint Assignment
For my imprint assignment I decided to use lime wedges in paint. I thought it would be a reminder for Coronas and limes and summer, especially since it has been so cold lately.

I had put trail mix in a pumpkin that should
have candy to see if anybody would notice. I waited at the end of the hallway to watch my roomate come out to see if she’d notice.
1st photo shows the object I placed in the middle of the sidewalk outside of my apartment. I sat up on the second floor and waited for people to walk by. Three people walked by. The first girl was the funniest to me, she stopped and looked around to see if anyone was out there. She looked at it again and then looked around again and just stared at it for a good couple minutes. The second girl didn’t pay much attention to it but she did stop and look. The third boy took a picture of it and probably posted it on his Snapchat. I thought it was cool all three had their dogs with them and all of their dogs stopped to sniff the gnome.

For my stakeout assignment I put my old phone by the bike rack outside my apartment. I watched from the third floor until the bus let off and a guy stopped and stared at it. I came down and he asked if it was my phone, he didn’t want me to step on it, then I explained the art project.

For my art assignment, I decided to place a tumbler at the top of the stairs of my apartment building. I then watched out the peephole of my door (that sounds creepy) to see people’s reaction. 2 people looked at the water bottle weirdly and walked around it and one person picked it up and was about to walk inside their apartment. I walked out of my door and they asked me if it was mine. I had to explain it was for an art assignment.

For my art assignment, I decided to leave a coffee on an empty table in the middle of the library. I left it on a table in between classes and watched from the corner. A lot of people walked up to the table saw the coffee was there and walked away, never really thinking to just take it. I did my homework and watched for 1 and a half but no one ended up picking it up.

For my project I decided to ride a longboard with the aid of my prosthetic I didn’t get many looks but the man in the video asked if I was okay after I skated down. I think he may have thought I hurt my leg. Other people seemed to not notice my shenanigans.

For my assignment I had an amazon box that I taped back with some bubble wrap in it and blocked out the name and apartment number on it then set it out in front of my apartment building. It was kind perfect because you can see the mailman was in the background. A couple of people walked out to their cars but just ignored it. After about thirty minutes someone that lived in my building came by and picked it up.

I served in the USMC and thought setting up a flag in front of the education building would be perfect to see if someone would pick it up and put it back in the ground upright. I waited around 10-15 minutes and 3 people walked by and didn’t pick it up. I ended up putting it back myself. -Anthony Mauro

For the steakout assignment my friends and I placed a cd in front of a gas station door around 10pm and waited in the car to record people as they walked in and out. It can be hard to see the cd in the video at times but we thought it would be an obvious spot for people passing by. After 30 minutes of waiting, no one ended up picking up the cd but it was fun to watch!

I decided to place an ice cream magnet on the side of a desk in the second floor of Randall Library. As I watched for reactions, a few people glanced at it but nothing really happened since it is just a magnet. But my friend did think it was strange that I put a magnet there before I told her that it was for a project. I left it there and came back the next day. I thought for sure somebody would move it or even throw it away but it was still there. The desk was even completely shifted but the magnet was in the exact same place. I kept the magnet there and I am excited to see how long it lasts.
Update: The magnet is still there on Monday the 18th (6 days later)

I used the allure of free breakfast from chick fil a sitting out, everyone else had walked by without a glance. Shawn L
For my stakeout assignment, I placed my water bottle in the middle of a sidewalk on campus. No one really cared that it was there and just went around it, but one person stood there still and confused staring at it for about 5 seconds, and then continued on with their day.
