We have been approached by the guys at Hunter Business Boardriders (HBB) to invite you to participate in the HBB Fantasy Surfer competition for a chance to win a stack of great prizes, including the chance to watch local Ryan Callinan surf at Pipeline. For those who don’t know, HBB is a group of people in business in Newcastle who share a passion for surfing and using it to give back to the community. Over the past five years they’ve raised over $200,000 for surfing related charities such as Surfaid, Hunter Melanoma Foundation, SiDs for Kids, Camp Quality and Disabled Surfers Association. HBB are actively promoting this years Fantasy Surfer competition with the intention of raising money for local Surfboard Clubs. The cost is $50 to join and the concept is to create a team of WSL surfers for each event on the WSL calendar using a salary cap. The team that gets the most amount of surfers through the most amount of rounds wins.
