Sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) - Symptoms and causes

Respiratory infection. Many infants who died of SIDS had recently had a cold. A cold may lead to breathing problems.

Secondhand smoke. Babies who live with smokers have a higher risk of SIDS.

Risk factors in mothers

During pregnancy, mothers also affect their babies' risk of SIDS, especially if they:

Are younger than 20.

Smoke cigarettes.

Use drugs or alcohol.

Do not receive good medical care while pregnant.

Sudden infant death syndrome is a very tragic thing that happens unfairly, it is one of the WORST things life unexpectedly throws, parents go from having their beautiful baby to having to bury that child with no answers to even tell them why,

The door is right there if you're bothered by that but it shows me clearly who you are as a person that you cannot empathize with why I would have such a representation,

To write these kids has been the hardest fucking thing but my God am I sticking to it. Because it will never be fair and you may say I'm uncomfortable I'm uncomfortable but that's these parents fucking reality every single day as they wake up to an empty cradle a grave and not their child growing,

Life doesn't work like that where we can erase things that make ourselves uncomfortable otherwise there would be children running around now that never got to,
