1. If you could live anywhere, where would it be?
Probably England or Spain. More specifically, London or Asturias.
2. Who is your favorite cartoon character and why?
Flapjack. Because of reasons.
3. What’s the most recent embarrassing moment you’ve had?
I always have embarrassing moments.
But most recently that wasn't absolutely horrible but just embarrassing was when I forgot how to put one foot in front of the other and tripped at the bar and busted up my knee. We had a good laugh about that one.
4. What’s your favorite movie quote?
I don't really have one in particular...
All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us. - Gandalf
IT'S A TRAP. - Ackbar
But you know happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, when one only remembers to turn on the light. - Dumbledore
Oh. No, wait. I mean, this kind of counts as both a movie quote and a book quote.
So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past. - The Great Gatsby
5. What’s your favorite TV show?
Ughhhhhh Parks and Rec. But also Sherlock and Doctor Who.
6. Would you rather be deaf or blind?
Deaf, I think.
7. Where in the world is Carmen Sandiego?
Up your butt. IDK HAVIN' ADVENTURES!
8. What’s a phrase that you could say to someone that would be a “tell” as to where you’re from?
Whenever I say Brooklyn. Or quarter. Or water. Or coffee. Apparently.
9. When you’re alone or have downtime, what are your 3 favorite things to do?
Go for a bike ride, go for a run or go to the bar.
10. What is your favorite knock knock joke?
Knock Knock
Who's there?
Amish.
Amish who?
Really? You don't look like a shoe.
11. Do you want to make fetch happen?
STOP TRYING TO MAKE FETCH HAPPEN. IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN.
Hello! I want to start a writing blog, but I'm having trouble with a direction. I want it to be about my own writing but also tips. Any tips? Feel free to reply back to my box if that's easier. Thanks :D
Hi!
Starting a writing blog is pretty easy, making it useful for other people is a little bit harder. I started this blog with no idea where I wanted it to go and with no idea of how big it would become.
These are some tips for making the blog successful.
Make sure you and your followers know what the blog is for. If it is to help people and you want it to be professional don't make personal posts.
Keep it consistent. We (for example) have the queue set for eight posts a day and everything we reblog is queued as is our responses. This should mean the content we provide is regular. Of course it doesn't always work this way.
Make original content. Original content means more people will follow, if you can run your blog of entirely original content that is even better.
Use the tags.
If you aren't sure what you want the blog to be for there is nothing wrong with just starting a blog and then figuring it out later. Lots of blogs have a combination of their own writing and of their own tips and it works pretty well. Make sure you have some sort of navigation and then people can either find your tips or your writing easily.
But just go for it!

and your hair looks very light
I think that's mostly due to the light coming in from the window.
How do you think the female characters are represented in this series? Pretending you have no knowledge of the outcome of the Game of Thrones, who were you routing for for the throne in season 1? How about season 2?
I think the women are represented very well in the series. They tend to stay away from cliches, and are definitely some of the strongest characters in the series! They're very real, and I think a lot of people can sympathize with them in some way. I've heard some comments that the books are misogynistic. The books aren't. The characters in the books may be, because hey, medieval times. That's what bugs me the most. When people complain about how the men treat the women in the books. But people need to realize that this is actually how it went down all those centuries ago.
I actually starting watching the show before the books! (And tbh when I first saw the show I was hella confused, then I read the book and then I understood things a bit more clearly). But what drew my attention to the show was the beautiful Daenerys. So I was rooting for her! I finished the book way before the series was done airing, but if I hadn't read the books I would still be rooting for Daenerys and Ned Stark.
As for season 2, hm. I would be rooting for Robb Stark because I have quite an attraction to the Starks, and since the show doesn't go as in-depth as the books about the other competing houses, I'd say I would still be rooting for the Starks alone. (But since I've read the books, I stan Renly & Co., Stannis, Robb, and Dany.)
I would also like to add that I really really like Tywin and I think he would make a good king.
