Ok, so that bark literally killed me (I spent SEVEN HOURS yesterday just doing the bark) but it looks sooooooo good!! I’m so proud of this one :D

Still chugging away at some new “large” paintings. This one is 12″x24″, which is smaller than some of the large paintings I’ve done in the past, but I’ve been doing a lot of smaller work these days due to space constraints, so it’s nice to paint on a slightly larger scale again :)

Sometimes it’s so much more interesting to live inside my head. I feel like the “me” I show to the world really isn’t very accurate compared to the “me” that lives exclusively in my head.

I’m very happy with this one--the brain especially! I think I need to work a bit more on realistic shading for the figure itself, but overall I’m very pleased with this painting.
