Your Supergirl ramblings are spot on. Wondering why it felt like the fandom has suddenly been overrun with casually racist Anti-James Olsen sentiment & I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one who has noticed the shift since season 1.
There’s always been Anti-James Olsen sentiment. It was there during season 1 and unfortunately it’s going to continue to be there. It’s just going to be more open because let’s be honest, James is more than likely on the way out. He literally disappeared for 3 episodes straight with zero explanation as for where he was, then when he FINALLY comes back he’s just background noise.
James is going to get killed, either this season or next season. I can already see it happening and as soon as it does, I never want to hear a damn thing about how “progressive” or “inspiring” Supergirl is. Because it’s gonna be bullshit. This fandom could care less about James and Black men in general so...fuck them.
