The ruling house of the Free Region of Lunar. Weapon traders and wielders of extreme military poweress. House Suryana is a House of the Moon.

The Free Region of Lunar

Located in the west of Red. Is a sort of sovereign state, that gained independence in 1863. The Free Region of Lunar, of the Lunar Region is ruled by a duchy and their family: the Suryana family. The surname Suryana means solar moon, which leads some to spectulate if they have Sun Fae blood. They do indeed have some Sun Fae blood, but it’s far back in the 1400’s. The Suryana family are known for their military poweress, and weapon trades. The city of Lunar del Clair, or Luna Clair, as it is widely known as, is the heart and capital of the region.

Before becoming independent, the region was for the poor, and lower middle classes. Fae flocked their due to the food and inexpensive housing. However, crime rates were high, leaving many with doubts of moving to the “better side” of Red. With that in mind, local weapon traders, the Suryana family, worked to gain riches in order to have enough money to rebuild the region. It took years of work but eventually the family was well known throughout Red, and the region crime rates were lowered.

The Suryana family, unlike that of the Savini, ruled loosely but had few rules established. The Suryana’s established a council of five individuals from the most prestigious families from the region, and had them be the voice of law. The head of the council of the “sister” of Navaja Savini, and the current heir to the family’s mantle. Melinae means sea of moons in Faerunic, because their paternal grandmother was an Ocean Fae. Halin is a member of this family through her mother, Navaja, (Faerunic name meaning moon flower) who is the current Queen of Red.

The family is spread across the Region, with the direct family situated in Luna Claire. Even though the majority is Moon Fae, other Fae inhabit the region with dream Fae being the second biggest group.
