Is it meat? Is it safe? Eat it. Just eat it.
Absolutely :)
Italians, (like the Swiss, French, Spaniards, Latin Americans and others), have consumed horse meat for centuries. I can tell you that it is practically like beef, albeit slightly sweeter and more tender.

People will eat any animal that can be eaten. I don’t understand why this is a big deal.
Exactly! A number of cultures also consume larvae, insects, arachnids, amphibians and gastropod molluscs. Do we say anything about that?
Heck, Vegans who drink wine also consume animals - because guess what yeast is? - they just don’t like to think so.

That’s as silly as a European telling me I shouldn’t eat kangaroo.
Or telling an aboriginal they can’t eat possum, or an American they can’t eat burgers. I’m sick and tired of people making judgements based on the fact that they can scream loudly because an animal locked eyes and batted their eyelashes.
When we can talk about respecting our food, respecting the process of sourcing and delivering, and especially the process of reducing wasted food, then we can talk about the choices we make.
frozen eggs
I throw them in the birdyard. When they thaw the chickens will eat them.
