After the information provided in this episode, I can’t stop thinking about an alternative scenario where Siren had been sacrificed by the shark castle. The overwhelming horror and terror that would have been elicited from the entire castle when the curse returned. The shattering realisation that Susca and Shoal could have gone through, years of grief they would have carried resurfacing in a blink of an eye as a truth is forced in front of them. They gave up their own son for nothing. Their only child was sacrificed for nothing. Their lives and the lives of everyone else they knew were going to be taken by the same curse their child’s life was meant to end
