((I've been thinking while on this little hiatus about Felix's power set for the other verse (also because it is gonna be relevant in the fic I've been writing so I need it nailed down long before I get to that point), and I think I've settled on him being implanted with a Cadou parasite that's been modified using octopus DNA, meaning his abilities to go stealth would be increased, and he'd also get tentacles that can be retracted back into his body at will. (Lady D mentions that only Miranda has seen her dragon form. Moreau changes form but also has difficulty holding his "human" form.) The only permanent change would be his pupils changing shape. I think it'd be neat if his tentacles more or less had a mind of their own and often did things or reacted without Felix consciously thinking about it - like pulling him away from danger or taking out a threat behind him. I do love the imagery of him using them to escape danger and just yeeting himself in the other direction from time to time, maybe sometimes using them to slingshot himself at someone to take them down, too.

I was originally throwing around the idea of him taking a form more like a varcolac, but that's also too similar to another character of mine and I need to vary it up for my own sake.

Also octopuses are fucking weird and can edit their own RNA to be able to withstand temperature and pressure changes (among other things). This would just further add to his survivability - the main theme with Felix being that he's a survivor, this is fitting.

So basically infected!Felix is a mixing pot of modified T-virus, mold, and then the Cadou. It's one of the major reasons he remains stable after the Cadou.))
