the way i spent literally all day thinking about sam yao, and how this mf is literally developing a parasocial relationship with five due to (up until the point i'm at, s1e8 i believe) never actually hanging out.... First of all, jenine telling sam something like “i can see why you recommended runner five so highly, they’re so efficient and competent etc”😭😭😭 im crying and throwing up. Cute character building but also i realized it’s SO effective for an exercise app to frame the listener as someone who is fast and competent right off the bat. I feel like, framing it as the Character You’re Roleplaying and not You, The Listener helps you not immediately be like “lol no I’m not,” but you still internalize a little bit of that confidence. Very cool. And again i love sam so much im throwing UPPPPPPPP UGH so he’s talking abt me when im not around :3 okayyyy
Secondly, i paused for a sec to look at a cat (lol) and started hearing this weird noise and i was like ??? Looking around, thinking it was something in my material surroundings, but NOPE. Zombie. That actually kinda scared me LOLLL
so... i just completed one of those "gearing up for 6+ months to do the thing" tasks that literally, LITERALLY, took less than five minutes. so um. here's your reminder to go do one of those things.
