No Leverage / No Pleasure (no text alt below)
Thinkin a bit abt Spinel again (which. hooboi that takes me bakc. she was the center of my roots here on the site)
Specifically a thought I had like. years ago. that I haven’t shared w/ a lot of ppl, and makes her backstory a tad extra tragic
So I was watching Scribble Kibble right. specifically the ep on Cuphead (for those who dk, scribble kibble is a YT series by Crowne Prince where she looks at different animated works and talks abt what went into making them, and the components of diff animation styles and stuff).
I got to a section where she was talking abt rubberhose, and she was explaining how a defining feature of the style is how the characters are constantly in motion, how they never stay still.
and Spinel did just that.
for 6,000 years
OH and new thing in the shop, this popular old design is now a sticker

Happy three years to literally everyone ever's favorite movie!!
did steven age up really quickly or gradually a la growth spurt?
it happened overnight or something
over a week or so
took a while but not Normally
gradually/naturally
something more specific (notes?)
i dont know steven universe/no opinion
like how long did it take him to go from this
to this
For my steven universe peeps - guys, what if Spinel was just a grumpy little cat Steven finds and adopts and the whole premise of the movie was just Steven dealing with this bitch ass feline who's so difficult with him
