Updated Rule;

Okay, so this wasn’t really a rule to begin with, but it was implied with every RPs general ‘be realistic’ guideline. It’s regarding pets. They’re allowed on campus, everyone needs a companion, but you still need to think this through. Your character (including teachers) live in a dormitory. Two bedrooms, a confined space, no yard (campus grounds do not count) and dormitories below you that can hear if you stomp too loud.

Think about all of that and six animals crammed in.

Most apartments in America have a limit of two pets, and we’re going to implement that here. Your character may have two pets that roam freely. That means they can have two dogs, two cats, or one of each. We’re not limiting things like goldfish, a hamster, a snake, etc. But, again, be realistic. Would your character really have six hamster cages?

And, please don’t take this as ‘two per person’. If your character is living with someone, it’s still only two per household.

October Challenge 3!

Seeing as the event starts tomorrow we want to see everyone’s the costumes! You can decide to dress up like a detective or as the event is a few days long can opt to show us what your character will be wearing on Halloween [the last day of the dance will have no dresscode]. Or both for those over achievers like Mod Hels.

You can make us a Polyvore, just a photo set, or drabble whatever you prefer! Please have these up by October 30th. The Best Costume will get something awesome for their character [yet to be determined by the mods] :D so incentive!!!

AU Reminder

Several things:

1. The AU begins Saturday. We have a lot of characters on reserve so please please get those apps in!! If you need help please don’t hesitate to ask I will give you a long list of characters

2. The final list is being made tomorrow after 5PM MST. To make our lives easier we ask everyone to have their app in by then. [Though if you miss the deadline you’re still welcome to send your app and participate]

3. This is a week long thing

4. You may continue threads that are not AU related if you so feel.

5. If you have questions please send them to the main, Shiri and I will be sitting down tomorrow to make the post. This includes questions on what kind of threads will happen. Any and all world building things. And whatever else you all want to know.

6. IF your character is down as a  villain please make sure you check your messages tomorrow around 8PM MST. I’ll be sending everyone some information they’ll want to have before the AU starts.
