...Continued from morning dive on 5th November (Saturday):
Suwam swims with us to the Abandoned Cave's entrance, which is on the far-left of the bottom of the Depths. After telling us that there are some crazy Sea People locked up in the Cave, as well as where the Key is hidden (a room with a mural), he asks us to go in without him as he will apparently stand guard at the entrance (the coward!).
The first thing Dave notices upon entering the Cave, is the large drop in temperature - it's apparently cold inside. We also noticed some glowing sea anemone growing on the ceiling of the passageway we are travelling along...
A little Red Bream swims on ahead of us... into the pathway of a zombie-like Sea Person who captures it and devours the Red Bream alive! Dave is shocked by the encounter, but presses on since he is safe behind the metal cell doors that keep the zombies at bay for now.
At the end of the long passageway, we come into a room with a mural that Suwam talked about. The mural seems to be implying something...
We quickly work out that the mural is trying to tell us the "passcode" to unlocking the Glacial Passage Key. All we have to do is stack the rock boulders according to what the mural is depicting.
...
The cell doors holding back the zombie Sea People crumble just as Dave picks up the Key. With the Gadons roaming about, we are now on a stealth mission to avoid being spotted by the Gadons.
I got caught and chomped on by a Gadon at this juncture of "hiding behind a stone statue" because I used the noisy Underwater Scooter to move. Dying respawned Dave to the beginning of the stealth mission.
We escape through the Abandoned Cave's entrance in the nick of time...

We are on the afternoon dive of 27th October (Thursday), and Ramo has just unlocked the Gate to the Sea People Village...
Just as we step foot into the village, the guards Nawang and Awang spot Dave and quickly swim in to arrest him. They wonder if Dave had kidnapped Ramo and Suwam. Ramo tells the guards to take them to see her father, where she will explain their situation.
At Tenzhin's House, the Village Chief Tenzhin, rushes over to greet his daughter Ramo whom he hasn't seen for awhile.
Laughter and applause, everyone. A dig at Dave looking like a blue manatee.
...more tremors....
So basically, Ramo asks her father Tenzhin to work with Dave to solve the mystery of the random tremors and ice melting off the Divine Tree. But Tenzhin says Humans can't be trusted because they hunt Sea People in the past. Ramo then tells him Dave saved her life from the Giant Squid and can be trusted. Tenzhin then proposes that if Dave can gain the villagers' trust, he'll consider working with Dave.
This kickstarts Chapter 3: A Request from the Sea People!
Before leaving, Tenzhin gifts Dave with a Sea People Mirror, which acts as a teleportation device between the Sea People Village and Dave's boat. But it can only work during the day. He also gives Dave a Village Map to find his way around the village.
Dive No. 58 sees us diving down to a record-breaking Depth of 258m. Our biggest fish caught is of course the Giant Wolf Eel we did battle with, at 999cm. During the dive, before the Boss Fight, we also killed and droned out 3 shark carcasses.

...Continued from morning dive of 26th October (Wednesday):
On the way down to meet Suwam and Ramo, we come across an Opal Ore Deposit and mined 3 ores from it with a nearby pickaxe.
We are finally back at the path blockage where Suwam and Ramo are. Ramo greets us rudely, while Suwam talks shit about Dr. Bacon's name, which apparently sounds like "spoiled whale meat" in their Sea People language. Anyway, Dave informs them that he can now pull Stakes using his special Diving Gloves, and proceeds to swim to the top pile of rocks to pull out the Stake that is pinning the rocks...
...the pile of rocks tumbled down, and....no dice. The weight of the rocks was significant but not effective in pushing down the rock blockage below.
That's when Ramo directs Dave's attention to another rock pile hanging to the top left side of the blockage. If we can get it to fall, the combined weightage might be able to clear the blockage below. However, there is no Stake holding the rock pile from Dave's side. He'll have to go around back to pull the Stake holding it in place. We'll have to explore a roundabout route on the further left side of the chamber.
On route to pulling the Stake, we capture a Megamouth Shark and a Rhinochimaeridae using our Level 2 Tranquilliser Rifle and Salvage Drone.
At the end of the route, we pull the Stake from the back end and let the rocks topple from above. This clears the rock blockage below!
Ramo instructs us to follow her and Suwam to the Sea People Village, because she has a request for us. Dave however, wants to leave after helping them. Suwam guilty trips us about being worried for Ramo. Oh we will follow them to the village alright. But not today, because we are low on resources and we need to restock back on the boat.
Dive No. 54 was a record-breaking 35 mins and 7 secs, and we dove to a Depth of 235m! Our biggest fish caught was the Megamouth Shark at 350cm. We caught a bunch of Blue Hole Depths fish, including a Cookiecutter Shark, which we killed.
The Rusty Weapon Charm we collected from the octopus, turned into an Octopus Weapon Charm, which gives extra 15% gun base damage to our guns when equipped.
Meanwhile, we complete the "Research Fossils 2" mission on Ecowatcher, which gives us 40 points for 3 Leg Bones, 3 Foot Bones and 3 Skulls.
