The historic Suwanne River borders Suwannee county on the south, west, and north borders, so I did the same on their flag. The thing about the Suwannee River is that no one knows where the name comes from. Some say it's a butchered form of "San Juan" introduced by the conquistadors, others say it's from "Sawane" the Cherokee word for "echo river". I showed this by the intergnging red and yellow. The county seat of Live Oak was built at a railway crossing, so the stripes make a railroad pattern.

Florida Cyclist Killed in Collision with Car

According to WCTV, after colliding with a car, a Florida cyclist died. Prior to the accident, the cyclist and the car were both traveling west on 180th Street in Wellborn, Florida. 

Reportedly, before the accident, the car veered slightly off the paved side of the roadway onto the grass shoulder. While traveling on the side of the road, the right front side of the car hit the rear tire of the cyclist’s bike. 

The collision ejected the cyclist from his bike and onto the hood of the car. Following the accident, Suwannee County EMS arrived at the scene, where they pronounced the bicyclist dead.
