Who was your wol(oc)'s closest friend growing up?

Suzune's closest friends were her cousins BUT her outside bestie was Litzgeim Wolklonaward. Litzy is from the Drei Fyrtarnkyn (Three Lighthouse Clans), managing Vylbrand's Seastars (yeah i was inspired by of Harvestella but as 'light that guides on the sea') Wolklonaward means 'Cloud Gathering Watch. Murakumo means 'Gathering clouds' :)

They bonded in the simple child of way of 'we have these superficial similarities this makes us besties!' and then 'oh, my friend is a demon merling; that's so cool' (litz) or 'my new friend can hold me BY ONE HAND (suzu). Litzy also 'translated' or smoothed things over when the Seruk and La Noscean child had communication issues. oooor stopped playtime from accidently blowing the powder depot. (＃°Д°)

Litzy isn't a mage herself but her mom and bestie ARE so she can be a good listener.

Suzune's other good friend is K'lyhia - surprising considering they are COMPLETE opposites (but they are both introverted even if Suzune is the prickly type and k'lyhia is the 'wedge into a corner until ppl stop percieving me type…) - but that's because they bonded as… fellow assessors. (was k'lyhia also an apprentice at the time… mysterious) when they killed Doesmaga together. :)

History - Suzune was born on Doma's One River on the Ship Bakanawa. When she was five or so, the Doman port of Nikamu was attacked by the Garlean Empire and burned to the ground; the populace fled - by aetheryte, by ship. Though Doma repelled the invasion and remained independent, the Seruk scattered and went on a years long guerilla war against Garleans on the borders.

Suzune's clan Murakumo fled to Limsa Lominsa, not wanting to risk turning around at the time and spent Suzune's childhood sailing between Limsa and Thavnair.

Suzune has had an apprenticeship in the Rhotano boundaries, fought in the Red Moon Campaigns and during the Battle of Carteneau conducted a ritual in Limsa Lominsa to keep the city from being overwhelmed by tidal waves - an action that awarded her honors, a new post as Quartermaster of the Decks and a house in the garrison town of the Mist. But in 1577 her (optional) sabbatical is here and she is getting a little bored...

idk if i've shouted enough about how I've been assigned 'From Tural' by the narrative because I picked Valigarmanda to be the One Native God of Suzune's people, the Wavewalker Hyur aka the Seruk based on uh... i don't wanna make up a god. *picks one from FFXIV's summons with a suitably long name that's fun to say*.

Valigarmanda sounds good, I say. Yoshi-P: so Valigarmanda is a boss encounter in Dawntrail.

I had a stroke. i've recovered. I'm thinking about the Alte Roite mount and how I can make it represent a messenger or even a smaller form of Valigarmanda

idk what possessed me to give Suzune three younger siblings with the dynamics they have consider this is not how I operate with my younger and only sibling - a brother.

Utami is the 2nd born and thinks Suzune is the best thing ever, besides their parents. They don't get their adult names until they are 12. Suzune (full name Suzumine) was named for the fact she played the bells for her sister's entertainment and Utami was named for her response to it - singing and dancing. Utami's first word was 'bell'. (well. it was 'suzu' or 'kane' which means bell)

Odorine is 3rd borne and has a slight complex about being Suzune's shadow that she doesn't need to have. Suzune thinks sufficient assurance is vibes and vague words; Suzune actually trusts her, Odorine thinks she's being condescending. (Utami translates).

Ryuuga is a full 12 years younger than Suzune. according to superstition (being both snake signs), this should mean they'll get along well. ... eventually. But Odorine is his favorite sister. He finds Suzune intimidating. at the moment his sixteen year old tendencies to believe he's the best thing clashes with his twelve-years-older sister who is cuffing him by the ear.
