They met at one of the Bad Randoms concerts and Surge said "I think your lifeguard skills are pretty cool" because he also likes saving people.

They literally like long walks on the beach because Buzz is a dino and Surge likes being buried in the sand for some reason.

A conflict they have is that Buzz's mom attacks Surge's city and is killed for an entire weekend once a month (Super City Rampage) but they work through that somehow.

They also take Boone and Max for a run around the park at the same time.

To put it simply, I’m a terrible student and a great artist. It’s nice that I can make things I’m proud of for my friends and myself, but now that I’m out of college I feel like that’s not actually going to get me anywhere. I’m not good with discipline so I also suck at chores and I’ve never had a job. Basically I feel like the only stuff I have going for me is enough for being a kid but not enough to get anywhere as an adult. - Suzz

Hey there Suzz,

Whilst I completely get where you are coming from, to some extent I think it’s more than OK to be stuck for a while and just do the things you enjoy doing like being an artist. In time, yes, working on being more disciplined with chores and in time a job is definitely something to work towards, but if you are managing right now with money and what not then it’s OK to take your time to find yourself some more.

Being more disciplined with things like chores isn’t easy but it can defiantly be done. Just start small and work your way up from there! So for example, work on keeping your room tidy, perhaps do your laundry at least once a week and have a crack at cleaning a few times a week. The goal is to get you use to doing these things and when you find you can manage on doing these things on a regular basis, like it’s just routine for you, then you can work on expanding your chores to doing more or doing things more frequently. Do you think you could give this a go?

In regards to getting a job, this also isn’t easy either and especially without any experience. So due to this I would encourage you to first find a place within yourself where you are OK with doing daily chores and then focus on perhaps finding a job. Have you ever thought about doing work that maybe includes your artistry? Maybe working in an art gallery or in a place that focuses on decoration or even working as an artist. It’s important that you work in a job that interests you or else you may become bored or find that working is more like a chore than a joy if that makes sense. I mean yes, work in a sense can be seen as a chore but it can also bring happiness and joy and especially if you love what you are doing. So maybe think about what you enjoy doing, what your interests are, what you love and find something that incorporates these things.
