im assuming you’re the person running @rph98 and while i appreciate you sending me this ask and your promise to take down the zeren gifs (and yanchen ones), i’d like to make several points clear, not as a way to attack you in any way but as a general announcement to others for future reference.

i think this whole situation could have been avoided if I had been contacted and asked if it was okay to use my gifs. had I known that you were going to use them and i had given you permission, i wouldn’t have been as surprised and subsequently angered finding them (yes i do like to scroll through blogs that are in my notifs from time to time).

secondly, i would advise that in the future, after permission was granted by gifmakers, there should be proper credit on the post. now im not a person who’s giffing for notes and credit doesnt mean that much to me, but the disclaimer “I don’t claim any of those gifs as mine so all my appreciation and gratitude to the creators” rubs me the wrong way. it’s a disclaimer with half the answers. yes you did not claim credit, but saying ‘gratitude to creators’ does not mean much when people cannot trace it back to the original gifmakers. please link the original gifmakers and give credit where it is due.

finally, though this might not be my place to call the shots, but i hope you also remove the gifs that were made by other gifmakers who did not give their permission for you to recrop. to my knowledge, i could recognize several gifs of fellow gifmakers, who might not know that theirs were taken and recropped and i do not think they would appreciate this, just as I did not appreciate finding out about this whole situation.

in order to avoid situations like this in the future, i can only ask that you either ask the original gifmakers for permission to use their gifs or make your own. it’s really that simple.

     “I definitely know how to do it,” he corrected the younger part of their duo, but knowing how to do it didn’t mean he’d also enjoy doing this, in the end he’d be able to do about anything as long as it was for their fans. “If it’s no pork, everything goes. But I want to remind you that we’re using the same company lawyer so suing might be difficult.” Which was a last joke before turning towards the mirror as well, following along with all those movements as perfectly as he was able to and with expressions fit for their stage eventually, ending up in a similar way on the ground as his partner, panting heavily thanks to their so repeated dancing that would make anyone tired at the end of the day. A little grumble was followed to the pinch, ready to intimidate the younger if only he wasn’t done for himself, with a deep breath heaving himself up to mimick actions and pick up his stuff as well. “If you’re hungry, be less energetic. I can’t keep up.”

“If I get my own lawyer maybe i’d win then.” he said with a sigh. “That’s because you’re getting old, you need to find a way to get young like me again.” he joked, playfully pushing the other. In reality xi kan knew the other wasn’t that much older than he was, and he kept up with xi kan’s antics rather well so he really shouldn’t be saying stuff like that. “After this comeback, no more cute stuff. I don’t think your heart can handle acting cute all the time, because I know I sure as hell can’t.” he made his way out of the practice room and out of the building, making his way down the street towards the first restaurant he could see. “I don’t understand why fans want us to keep doing cute concepts, it’s not like we can pull it off well in the first place.”

hexiang got : 10 – shoulder

            IS SHE overstepping her bounds if she did what she was thinking ?? odessa had been staring at hexiang’s broad back the entire time while he was doing the dishes. she wanted to do it…every time she sees his shoulder, she’s reminded of the scar decorating the skin and she feels sad for him ( there was nothing to be sad about but she can’t help but to feel remorseful ). 

            IT’S ALSO not an unknown fact that odessa’s been having a bad few days…things haven’t been going her way recently ( having gotten into another argument with her father, having difficulty in learning new choreography, her dog might be sick… ). she just needed some loving…some affection. perhaps she was being too CLINGY…but she just wanted to be wrapped up in hexiang’s arms for the next few days and be told that things was going to be okay.

            THERE WAS always some sort of security and warmth when she was around the male ; he put her at ease with just a few words and a kiss to her forehead. she wished she could return that gesture but he was too tall and she didn’t want to ask him to bend down just so she could return the affectionate gesture…so she opted for the next best thing.

            FINALLY MOVING from her spot in the doorway, odessa makes her way to hexiang ; arms wrapping around his torso as she buries her face in his back. she feels his movements stop briefly in confusion and in concern before it slowly restarts, hearing him ask her what’s wrong.

            PRESSING A gentle kiss to his shoulder, “nothing…i could just use some hugs right now,” she murmured, eyes slipping shut as she continued to hold onto the male.

Sleep drabble for Xia Mei and Seven

Sleep — I’ll write a drabble of my character snuggling in bed with yours.

            DOMESTIC ACTIONS was a rarity between them…mostly because seven was awkward with any sort of intimacy that had emotions attached to it and even more so, he was still trying to adjust having someone in his life…no, not a significant other ( is that what they’re called ?? ) but rather, just having someone in his life that hasn’t particularly given up on him just yet. but seven remained cold and distant from the elder, unsure of how he felt about xiamei just yet…all he knew is, one misstep and the other could end his life without a second thought.

            SLEEPING IN bed together, without any sexual connotation, usually ends up with seven curled up on one side of the mattress, back towards xiamei with only a light blanket draped across his thin figure ( heavy duvets seemed to get in his way when he’s in a hurry to get out of bed ). coldness hung between the pair, seven had figured it to be a BUSINESS relationship, it ends whenever training ends ( even if they were sharing a bed ).

            TONIGHT WAS different…perhaps it was because of what had happened during the testings done on the project earlier in the morning or something during training that triggered it but throughout the entirety of the day, seven was hardly at his best. while he seemed physically fine and remained just as sarcastic, it wasn’t hard to tell that there was something OFF about him but no matter how many times he was asked, seven remained mum about what was haunting his mind ( a past TRAUMA, perhaps ?? ).

            AS IF it’s an act of mercy, xiamei manages to convince the higher ups to let seven out of the lab for a night…they trust xiamei ; if seven tries anything funny, they know that xiamei could deal with it accordingly. feigning boredom as he trudged along beside the elder, minimal words spoken between the two while seven’s gaze wandered the nightlife dazzling the city. if one searched hard enough, they can see the WONDER and CURIOSITY dancing in his eyes as he took in the scenery.

           THE NIGHT passed without incidence…incidence being seven trying to be smart ( physically or verbally ) and oddly OBEDIENT, he once again ended up on the side of mattress…far from xiamei, blanket barely draped on his strangely small figure. curled up into himself as if he was trying to make himself smaller than he already was as he tried to will himself to sleep.

            TIME PASSED in silence, breathing evening to signal someone having fallen asleep yet rustling and restless fumbling continued to occur on the far side of the bed…a soft whimper permeating the silence and a CLICK as the lights come on again. NIGHTMARES…why was he having nightmares when he was supposed to remember nothing at all ?? how could he forget if he LIVED in the nightmare…

            A GENTLE shake of his shoulder to rouse him from whatever demon gripped his mind, a rough tug to get seven to face his handler…ready to put on another brave front, he was suddenly pulled into the other’s embrace, face tucked against xiamei’s shoulder and arms around his slim figure. “xiamei…” he started when he was sleepily shushed and told to go back to sleep.

            WARMTH…AND oddly safe. being wrapped in the other’s arm, tucked against xiamei’s body. being surrounded in the other’s familiar scent, this FALSE sense of security…he won’t fall for it. no, he won’t…he won’t….yet, despite everything he tried to fight against the sleep trying to overcome his mind, the lulling warmth of xiamei’s body and the slow rise and fall of the other’s chest became seven’s lullaby.

            EYES SLIPPING shut, his own breathing evening over ; it was safe. it’s okay to sleep…curled up against the elder, there was nothing to worry about if he’s with xiamei. as he slept, he shifted closer to the other, snuggling against xiamei as if to steal the other’s warmth while remaining in xiamei’s embrace as he slept…

            WHO KNEW the best nightmare deterrent came in the form of the male he was most weary about…

It was a rather silent walk back to the palace but Daniel thought it better that way. Sticks and stones may break his bones but words will never break him? Whoever said that had never met Jooyi – sticks, stones and words will break him, if used correctly and she was on her way to perfect that skill. Although the fae prince did not see her as ill-tempered or violent as she sometimes painted herself, she definitely had a harsh side. Jooyi was a fierce and skilled warrior. She spent more time practice her shield and sword skills than perfecting the arm of teacup holding. Well, Daniel supposed that drinking tea with the pinky finger up required a lot of practice but not the kind that he would associate with Jooyi; as a matter of fact, it felt weird to think of her wearing a dolly-like dress and drinking tea and be like her ladies in waiting. Now that was terrifying.

Jooyi was more like soil, dust and rocks.

So when she tripped on a rock while practicing combat with one of the soldiers, it felt odd. But more than that, it was sad because Daniel was hoping to get a chance to see her doing what she did the best. A way to get closer to her, indulge in her hobbies and passions. But carrying her back to the palace was a good way too, he supposed. If only he could get rid of this uncomfortable silence. Ah, it stung more than a rose’s thorn.

Yet he was not known for giving up. “You looked cool back there. I would not want to meet you on a battlefield.” It was just surprising that a rock had her falling on her butt.
