As Scourge sat up in the morning, a box would fall down from his forehead, making a rattling sound as it hit the ground. The box was suspiciously overly wrapped with a red ribbon, which seemed to be holding the box together rather tightly. It didn't do the box much good, but at the very least it looked festive.
One would need scissors to open such tight packaging, but it shouldn't be a problem for someone with sharp quills. And once the box is opened, a loud melody of a Christmas song blasts out into the air suddenly and with it... A necklace. An expensive-looking one too. The golden tag on the golden chain had a weird rune drawn on it, while on the other side one would notice a picture of a phoenix coming out of raging flames. Strangely enough a pair of very familiar glasses was plopped up on top of the bird's beak. What could that possibly mean?..

Scourge was quick to open the gift though he paused once the music starts playing and he sees the necklace. Lifting it up to look at it's detail - if any. Frowning as he tried thinking of a reason it would be a phoenix... could this mean change? he was changing.. and for the better. Already planning to stay around this arriving year. He hardly knew anyone now so...was this from Miles?! it had to be..
he would thank him later today after getting a gift for him too. he put the necklace on so to sjow he was thankful. He had plans today one was to visit Miles or at least message him...
"He thought of me again..huh." Heart seemed to hurt he had been gone and yet their was a gift still here for him. damnit he didn't deserve it. he accepted it yes but he had a lot of proving and working to change.
