Ásmundarsafn Museum, Reykjavik, Iceland by O Palsson Via Flickr: This is the entrance to Ásmundarsafn Museum in Reykjavik, Iceland. The museum is the former home and workshop of Icelandic sculptor Ásmundur Sveinsson (b. 1893, d. 1982). The museum and the surrounding garden contain many of his interesting and appealing sculptures. However, I find the unusual building, designed by the artist himself in the 1930s, even more compelling.
