Answering Some of the Common Questions
1. Is this a paid job?
Yes and no. Because this is the start of a real company, eventually there will be no question on payment and contracts unless it is an internship program. Right now we are in the early development stages but want to get started on work ASAP. We are currently working on getting funding through scholarships, gofundme, and similar programs designed to help kickstart these types of companies. With that funding obtained and with the money profits from the video game we will be selling on Steam we 100% plan on paying our members.
tldr; yes you will get paid, the farther along the company the easier it will be to get to that stage, it will be a signed part of your contract and we will be legally obligated once that contract is signed.
2. Is this something official?
Yes. While this studio is in extremely early stages this is a legitimate company in the making. We are working with trademark and copyright lawyers, writing up contracts, securing funds, and setting up our website.
3. Is this at a certain location?
Because our goal is to obtain diversity in not only the content we produce but in the team we form, we are currently looking for members from anywhere in the world, provided they can communicate well in English. Our business will be conducted through our website, social media, discord and google (docs, sheets, etc)
4. What happens after the kick off animation and the tea shop video game?
We hope that we will have gathered enough support to branch out and spread the studio out into its intended substudios and teams. We will have a universe where stories can overlap, a comic industry, a video game team focused on visual novels and dating sims, children’s animation and more. In order to get to this point however, our foundation must be strong and the success of our start is crucial.
5. I’m interested but don’t have a lot of time right now so should I bother applying?
YES!!! One of the things about this studio that is so special is that we are looking for young (but 18+) members to form our team. A large majority of our team is rather currently in college, recently graduated, or looking for their first professional work experience. Scheduling will be split into functioning teams and deadlines will be personalized so please don’t miss this opportunity before you give yourself and us the chance to work things out together!
6. I’m not interested in joining but I want to support this studio. How can I do that?
You can follow us here and spread the word! If you have friends interested in business, arts that apply to production (music, art, animation, voice acting, etc), or interested in the tech side of things then tell them about this opportunity. Reblog our posts, follow us on our social media accounts. When we have our gofundme set up please consider donating so we can pay our members sooner rather than later. But most importantly use your voice! This studio wants to create content that you and future generations can look up to and be inspired by, but to do that we need your help!
