Panels of hand-painted Chinese rice paper cover the walls of the drawing room at Svindersvik, in Sweden, designed by architect Carl Harleman as the summer home of the much-traveled merchant Claes Grill. The furniture is late Gustavian, and a blue-and-white stove was added despite Svindersvik being a summer house. The World of Interiors, February 1987.
