I feel like we haven't seen him connect with anyone like that (aside from dipper, but that's when he's old).

Y'know, Bill is a bad example of a friend who supposedly shares your interest in things unusual to this world. Someone who is actually your friend won't try to manipulate you into ending the world... and they actually care about you and find your research into the weird and wondrous to be interesting after you find them on the side of the road in the woods in the middle of the night.

Ford deserved to meet a better friend than Bill 😤.

thinking about how gravity falls could have been musical like steven universe...

a lot of people like to make fun of SU for "all the character development done through singing and/or crying" but yknow what. i kinda want to see the Stans singing and crying together.

i want their backstory told with the Stans as kids/teens singing about adventuring on the beach

i want mullet stan and paranoid ford in 1982 to reconcile via musical number. or present-day Stans in 2012.

i want ford to process his trauma from bill through song (think "Distant Shore" or "Drift Away").

i want fiddleford's memories played in "Society of the Blind Eye" as a song he sings following him slowly getting worse. (like the chronological order of "Drift Away")

i want dipper and mabel to sing together in the finale that maybe it's okay to grow up and maybe it's also okay to "not grow up". i want stan and ford to sing together that it's okay to love and be loved; it's okay to trust and be trusted.

i got a bit carried away but i want them to sing. "steven universe critical" people make me smh my head because at least SU had emotionally powered music that i think handled processing trauma and character development really well. instead GF has... idk some cashgrab book they say is "canon".

So I got an idea for a 2nd short video, this time kind of going a bit deeper on something I touched on in the first one.

In the first one, I mention how Ford isn't to blame for the things Bill did. In this one, I'm going to explain that more and what other things were and weren't Ford's fault.
