Noah Porter Benson Headcanon

For a long time, Noah actually wanted to become a firefighter (or a robot), even though he'd loved playing cop as a kid. Only when starting college he decided he wanted to follow in his mother's footsteps and join the NYPD.

Mike Dodds Headcanon

Mike sings and plays guitar in a band he formed with fellow NYPD Academy graduates. They call themselves 'The Cuffs' and mostly play cover songs, but Mike also wrote some songs for them. The Cuffs give some gigs in their favourite pub on weekends when they have time. He owns a big collection of vinyls and one of the things he regrets not being able to do more often during summer is to sit on the fire escape stairs of his building in the evening and just jam mindlessly.

Rafael Barba Headcanon

Rafael prefers to buy his ties himself (he's a regular at Brook's Brothers) and rather hates it when he receives ties as gifts - he claims nobody has such a good taste as he does. Lucia and Rita are always offended.

Rita tries to keep fit and balance her stressful workdays out with as much sports as possible.

Yoga when she needs to relax and is too tired for action.

Indoor cycling when she needs to power herself out and just stop thinking (and also when she felt like she indulged too much into good food)

Krav Maga when she's frustrated and just wants to punch and kick things. And because she deems it important to be able to protect herself.

Lucia Barba Headcanon

One of Lucia's favourite Sunday afternoon activities is reading the newest wedding magazines, never giving up the hope that she'll soon have the opportunity to organise either Fia's, Rita's or Rafael's wedding.

(Some people find it adorable - Fia, Rita and Rafael think she's unhealthily obsessed.)

Rita Calhoun Headcanon

Rita quit as ADA when she wasn't promoted but someone else, who was less qualified - but a man.

She started in a renowned private law firm, aiming to become a partner, but even though working hardest and bringing the most clients and good PR to the firm, she once again wasn't given what she deserved.

So she took the leap and started her own law firm, taking all the clients and her good reputation with her, making her former bosses regret their decisions.

More successful than ever, she soon started employing herself and gave every junior lawyer a fair chance, determined not to let anybody experience the same dismissal as she did. She also works with law students, offering internships.
