this picture of jake lloyd is so impossibly cute that every time i see it i feel such a strong wave of protective fondness for him as an actor, but also for anakin too, like for him to have been basically the same size as artoo when they met, no wonder he treats him like a friend.
imagine if jabba were actually this size in the film lolol like han being bullied by something this small. mini jabba would run tatooine with a tiny, tiny iron fist
it's kind of nice to imagine sabé and padmé smiling together like keira and natalie did in this behind the scenes photo. of course while one was costumed and performing as amidala it wouldn't be possible to be this casual, it's still nice to imagine them experiencing joy together, when the rest of their lives were marked by so much pain, you know? at least they shared joy first. sabé's persistent devotion in the comics suggests as much to me :(
you know, i wouldn't mind calling this building home. it looks warm and cozy, designed with natural curves and built local materials, not industrial, cold, alienated, lonely. i wouldn't want to be a slave on tatooine, that should go without saying, but i wouldn't mind growing up in a community built like that
