I forget that as sex workers we really see the underbelly of society sometimes. Being in a sexual situation with a man who 1. Already thinks less of you and 2. Feels he is owed whatever he wants because money has exchanged hands is scary sometimes.

It's scary that I can tell a guy multiple times we arent fucking in VIP. You have to keep everything in your pants. You cant touch anything my panties cover. I make this clear so I dont have to worry in VIP as much because I give so many verbal assurances that nothing beyond dancing is going to happen.

But some men I meet really take that as a challenge. "You don't mean that". "I can change your mind". The amount of men I have had try to physically restrain me and tell me "its okay" after I have said "no" IS TERRIFYING. Thankfully I've been in this business for a few years and I feel confident in enforcing my boundaries and doing what I need to keep from being harmed.

But fuck, it makes me scared for other women. The ones that may end up on a date with these guys who now feel owed because he bought her dinner. The newbie dancer he finds at another strip club once a guy has learned the vets aren't as pliable as he'd like. Drunk girls alone in a bar one of those guys happens to be in.

I do meet a lot of cool, intelligent, kind, people. And overall I like a good portion of the people I meet. But I think about those other guys a lot

I had to move outside of the city due to my financial situation, into an abusive and toxic environment I escaped long ago. Due to this I am no longer able to work as I have no way to and from the city. SW is my only feasible source of income due to my multiple disabilities and extreme poverty and without stable housing, I will not be able to get back to work or sustain myself at all.
