The almost-two-years since I visited Galaxy's Edge for the first and thus far last time have been so very weird and occasionally traumatic and involved me leaving my house so little that it feels like that trip either happened 10 years ago, or didn't actually happen at all and was just a weird dream I had about how Disney made a Robot Hondo Ohnaka.

In the grand scheme of life, the universe and everything this is so incredibly FAR from “tragedy” status, but it still pains me to know we live in a world where there are TWO robotic Hondo Ohnakas in existence, and NO ONE CAN GO SEE THEM.

One of my favorite things about Galaxy’s Edge being canon is that this basically means that there was a point in galactic history where on one end of Black Spire Outpost, Kylo Ren was having a tantrum, Force-choking people and just being a huge Skywalkerian Drama Queen in front of a crowd of gawkers, and just down the street Hondo Ohnaka was casually hanging out and trying to con rubes into transporting contraband for him.

A couple of our cantina drinks from Galaxy’s Edge this past summer. (My personal fave was the one on the left -- it’s just a basic white wine, but it’s TEAL and this delighted me far more than it should have because I am easily amused. 😄)
