Headcanon/ Scenario! After Julian gave his s/o the common cold (while insisting he isn't sick and overworking himself) they take revenge by being the most clingy little shit they can be until he comes back to bed with them! ùwú
@swagfirellama Cute :3 Hope you like it, I did some brainstorming over the day for a headcanon-scenario mix!

Julian does feel decently bad that he passed on his cold to them, and at least at first, they won’t notice his intention of leaving. He’ll be the one to get up, bringing them some tea and medicine, crawling under the blanket with them again for a few more minutes, cooing his love to them, and caressing their feverish skin with his slightly cooler hand. It will all be nice and dandy until he takes a big sigh, pushing back the blanket and gives them a last kiss to the head swearing up and down he won’t work longer than five and tell Mazelinka to bring some soup for lunch to them
Of course, his s/o is immediately alarmed, gasping - and coughing - about how he’s not a hundred percent fit yet either and cannot leave in this condition. But Julian shrugs it off as ‘just coughing and sniffling still’ and gets a clean shirt back on, proceeding on to his shoes. They are up and by his side only seconds later, tugging at his collar, asking him not to go and heal out, but he keeps insisting that other people need him, even if they tell him in all honesty that there are other doctors around and if it’s just a cold, most people can handle
But he really doesn’t want to hear so they can just flop down to the ground and wrap their arms around him, getting out the dirtiest tricks. “What about me? I need you!” and “I’ll be so lonely!” They can just feel him tense and get into a fight with himself over it, contemplating what to do
“It’ll just be a few hours, [Name].”
“But I’m sick! I need a - conveniently handsome and charismatic - doctor too, to tend to me!”
Well, he never expected less of them when it comes down to them, keeping him at their side. At this point, he’s pretty much ready to give up, especially if they start coughing right after saying this, and he can see the sweat building on their face. But he still insists he has to go. So they bring out their last resort, elongating their “Please, Ilya,” as sweetly - yet sickly, as they can. They know they have won when he bites his lip hard before sighing and picking them up to help them back to bed, brushing off his shoes while they walk. Tugging them in, he peels himself from unnecessary clothes before slipping into the blanket again, admitting that one more day might not hurt, and they are right that there are more doctors. And finally, they have him right where they want him again, happily in their arms
It’s true that Julian would want to help as best as he could, but everyone needs a break, even if they need to be forced too. At least he gets to sleep out some more of his own remnants of the cold before he goes practicing medicine to others again
