Swamp Mallow (Rose Mallow) is a perennial hibiscus (Hibiscus moscheutos) found throughout the eastern USA along rivers and in wetlands. * Sometimes called a Dinner Plate hibiscus (Mallow). It’s single day blooms can be over a foot across! These are on the range of 10 inches. * On a rainy September day the blooms will Not open, but hopefully if we see the sun again we will get a few more blooms before the fall comes in earnest. * Asters are just starting around here, and the fall camellias won’t bloom for a bit.
