Congratulations, Amanda! You've been accepted as Rapunzel! We enjoyed how much thought you've put into her style of artwork, and how lovely she is. Please send in your blog as soon as possible.
In Character Information:
Desired Character: Rapunzel
Secondary Character: Henry Mills
Why did you choose this character? [4+ sentences explaining why]: The simple answer is that her story is one of my favorite fairy tales from my childhood. The long answer is a bit more complicated, but here it is. When I first started RPing on Tumblr I came up with a fairly elaborate version of Rapunzel (evilsnotborn.tumblr.com). After I got accepted into a group as their Emma and eventually an OC character I kind of dropped playing Rapunzel, partly because I was too busy with the group and partly because I had lost the muse. When I saw this group, which looks amazing, was looking for a Rapunzel I thought I would jump at the chance of finding the love I once had for this classic fairy tale.
Changes: This isn’t a change just an request for clarification, she is a teenager is she not? Does she go to school? Also the graffiti art mentioned, can it be more of the classical artistic style using graffiti techniques or are you thinking more the out loud angst and anti-establishment style?

Before the curse is broken:
Juliet sat on her bed staring out the window her sketch pad propped against her knee, colored pencils strewn all over the bed. The page of her pad was blank as she twirled the bright orange pencil in her hand her mind lost in the dream she saw outside her window. It wasn’t a dream of anything specific, but just a mindless wandering of thoughts as she watched the sun set over the Storybrooke harbor.
The first yell of her mother barely broke through her daze, but the second…
It was louder and more piercing, the girl jumped startled and sent the orange pencil sailing across the room, “Ooops… Yes, mother?” She called attempting to disentangle her legs from the blanket she had strewn over her lap hours earlier causing her sketch pad to tumble to the ground.
Before she could get free her mother pushed her door open, “What are you doing up here? I’ve been calling you down to dinner for the last ten minutes.”
“Um. I was…” Juliet trailed off as she glanced out the window. “I was just…”
“Just what?” The older woman asked perturbed, “Daydreaming again? I see you’re still playing with this absurd attempt of art of yours.” Her mother held up the bad to display a rough sketch of a street art Juliet had thought of for the side of Grann`y’s. It was a moon rising through a purple mist, water below, and clouds barely obscuring the skyline and the lower crest of the full moon. Granny’s dinner was sketched below with the cheesy catch phrase, “Eat or be Eaten.” Juliet wasn’t exceptionally proud of the drawing, but she had been bored and amused by the bickering between Granny and Ruby at the time.
“It’s just sketches mother.”
“And what of this one?” She held up another; this one was of a castle from Juliet’s dreams and memories. Lanterns lit the sky leading to a palace that seemed straight out of a little girl’s fantasies.
“I… I don’t know… It’s just a dream I had. That’s all.”
“You should focus on practical things, Juliet, instead of this nonsense.” She tossed the pad onto Juliet’s bed. “Now come down for dinner. It is getting cold.”
“Mother?” Juliet picked up the pad and closed it, but didn’t put it down. “I was wondering if…” She fidgeted with the pad in her hands, “Well, some of my friends are going to a bonfire thing tonight down by the beach, and I was wondering if, maybe I could…”
“Juliet.” Her mother sighed tiredly, “We’ve talked about this; you know how I feel about you gallivanting around town late at night.”
Her mother held up a hand to silence her, “Clean up your room and then come down to dinner, Juliet.”
“Now Juliet.” Her mother turned and left the room allowing for no more discussion.
Sighing Juliet gathered her pencils and put them in a jar on her desk before chancing one more look out the window at the setting sun. “I just thought it would be fun…” Sighing again she brushed her hair back over her shoulders and headed down to dinner.
