gardening!!! when it’s warm out. When it’s colder out I will bake or I will change the sheets on my bed. I actually think it’s very soothing to do something repetitive like laundry or weeding plants. 

8.  if you were going to write a non-fiction book on any topic, what would it be?

I love talking about how sea shanties are oral histories that influence the structure of country music ballads 

18.  a book series you can always escape in

The Edge Chronicles! I feel like those never age like some other “young reader” series do. The 4th book in the series honestly still freaks me out, I love it. 

24. describe the most wacky, weird and wonderful at-home outfit you’ve put together

Oh definitely my yellow sweatshirt with an ultramarine blue eye on the breast pocket area that has “awake-ish” under it paired with paisley patterned palazzo pants and a pair of mismatched fuzzy socks and my hair in a hot pink scrunchi. It’s about COMFORT and about bright colors. Also all my joggers were dirty.
