Marvin isnt a magician. At least, not an actual one. He's a dnd nerd who dives a bit too much into fantasy and tends to LARP around the house and it weirds out the others because he won't talk to them normally. He's also very introverted and shy, doesn't know how to socialize properly. They put up with him because he's still their friend.
How's JJ in the swap au? With the first thing we've seen of him he seems... Rough
I imagine he's like a grumpy old man who's disillusioned with the world and gave up on trying to keep the others in line. He's not actually a jerk, he's just tired of their shit.
If not for him, Jackie would have gotten himself into more trouble. xD
