My sister and I have been playful calling Swinub a “sentient coffee bean” and shiny Swinub a “sentient watermelon” for years. It’s about time I drew a shiny Swinub in a watermelon patch.

Are you isolated, bored, wanna do crafty stuff or write postcards?
You can. Just pay postage.
I've been on Swap-bot.com for about 10 years, off and on. The site has a lot of issues I think, because it really hasn't had infrastructure updated since then and the owners have pretty much moved on. Would love some alternatives that aren't just postcards.
On Swap-bot, you can swap anything! Books, puzzles, letters, craft supplies, fabric, whatever you want. The trades are randomized unless you set up 'private swaps,' so you get to meet all sorts of new people. Many trades are inclusive. For example, my letter swaps can be typed instead of written. Hard time writing small for a postcard? Send a greeting card. You don't get left out just because of that.
Anyone 18 and up can join. YES, 18 even if the adult age in your country is 15 or 16. Doesn't matter. The site is based in the US and the adult age of consent is 18. It's free to join and free to start swapping. You just have to pay postage for whatever you mail out.
Here's a small sample of trades for Jan-Feb 2024. Most of them are hosted by me. There are dozens and dozens of swaps monthly. There are Christian-only ones, Pagan ones, "anybody" ones, stuff like e-mails telling your favourite stories, playlist swaps, all sorts of stuff!
Most of my swaps are 1 stamp or emailed. This year, I can't afford to mail outside the US, but many swaps DO! "Location" means a specific area typed in, so you can trade only in Austria if you want to.
I have a blog talking about some SB basics and expectations. There's a HUGE help guide and forum on the site, too!
I'd love to have more people join us. The more, the merrier. Tumblr has our own community but I know a lot of us are also zine makers, writers, music lovers, and generally creative people.
I don't want to post more 'popular' swaps of endless stickers, paper samples/scraps, etc. I also want to do more interesting things in 2024- sketches of your favourite trees! Themed small art projects to motivate people to make stuff! Celebrating Friday the 13th and International Cat Day! Tell me your favourite local lore.
Look up NigatsuBebe on Swap-bot.com to find my swaps.

calling myself out
Natu found a bird bath to splash around in! 💚
I’m so mad at myself for the fact that this is only the second time I’ve drawn Priam. I’ve definitely got to draw him more later.
Sasuke in his part II design! Growing up, I only ever caught a few Naruto episodes on tv. I do remember Sasuke being my favorite of the friend group, though.
