Comic - his hobbies consist of conspiring with the rats and finding the most ridiculous places to hide. have you ever seen someone hide under the floor? it was him, always has been.
Rus - is his love for coffee the result of his jumpy enthusiasm, or does the coffee fuel his hyperactivity at 3am? we will never know. sorts his books after levels of nostalgia.

Blue - being within a ten meter radius of him will make you giddy. motivation and an energy drink is all he needs to survive. oh shit, he spiked the punch again.
Stretch - he stores everything in his pockets, and is very big on social media. maybe its his personality, but everyone is staring at the chaos in the bg, while this man stays oblivious.

Red, Cherry - the sad wannabe tough guy. he looks like he could crush you with a hand, but in reality he just wants to know which cafe you got your vanilla latte from.
Edge - the diplomacy is a front, he is a bastardly cat father with no sense of style (it doesnt matter though, he can make it look good, fuck you linda).

Slim, Pup - cannot bother with sorting his music into playlists. he just has that autoplaylist 'liked' with at least 1000 different songs. he knows where every. single. song. is.

Wine - being around him with a coffee mug feels like a crime. it must be gold plated or it will feel out of place. wine knows that, that's why he always drinks suspicious red liquid out of a wine glass.

You mentioned that Plum is loyal to the Queen and the royal family, does that mean Asgore, Asriel and the Adoptees(MK,Chara,Frisk)?
In the AU I use—which I call Swaptwistfell—Asgore is dead and has returned as Flowey, Asriel has rebelled against his mother and now resides in the Ruins in protest of her tyranny, and the children are either dead or would not be adopted by Tori.
This is a Fell ‘verse. In particular, it’s a Fell-verse getting worse with every passing day. The ending where Cash is left alone in the Judgment Hall as the lone survivor is probably the “good” end to this AU. These people either do not deserve to make it to the surface, or they die trying to get the Fallen Child back home.
Make no mistake, Plum and Toriel are bad guys, and they are not the kind that can be redeemed.

Cash/Wine. Expensive Red?
Twistfell belongs to @itsladykit and it’s also her Swapfell Purple (Swaptwistfell?) I’ve tried to write because goddammit I love that Cash, and Plum is pretty great too.

”You sold me to the highest bidder.”
The words were flat, factual. Unemotional. A slow waltz played in the background, but no one was dancing. There was no one there except for Cash, his brother, and the orchestra. And the guards and servants, obviously, but none of them counted. His hands clenched at his sides, claws digging into his palms. Standing stiff, he stared down at his older brother, who was reclining in a crimson armchair.
Plum raised an eyebrow and regarded him coolly. A champagne glass rested in his hand, and the drink swished around inside as he moved his wrist just a little. Once, almost going over the edge, but not quite. For a moment, he didn’t speak. Almost as though he was considering his words. Then he gestured at the other armchair with his free arm. An order. A scowl appeared on his face when Cash continued to stand, but he didn’t press the issue.
“It is the best opportunity you will get, brother,” Plum said, his eyes sweeping over Cash’s appearance. From his black boots, they travelled up over his purple waistcoat and coat, and to the embroidered eyepatch over his right eye. When he shook his head, something hard knotted inside Cash’s stomach, making him want to duck his head and shoulders. He didn’t. “His Majesty is known not to be needlessly violent; I am certain he will make a good spouse. And what is more important is that he is an incredibly powerful man. You will marry him, Cash, or there will be consequences. The engagement contract is already being written.”
Holding Cash’s gaze, Plum’s didn’t waver. His glowing eyes were determined, and no traces of regret were to be found. Nothing hinting on that he might be at least not entirely delighted over marrying his useless disgrace of a brother off to whoever could offer the most. An alliance, gold, territory. All of it to Plum’s and Asriel’s advantage.
Ignoring the ache in his stomach, an ache so familiar he almost didn’t feel it anymore, Cash nodded sharply, once. A rare smile appeared on Plum’s face. Not rare because he didn’t smile, he often did when around Asriel. Rare because it was directed at Cash. Something more painful flared up in his soul, on the same time as a small spark of joy dared to show up in a corner of his being. A joy quickly supressed. He had no reason to be happy that his brother was pleased with him. Not when it was over the fact that he had agreed to marry someone he had never met. Someone infamous for his ruthlessness in war.
When Plum gestured against the armchair again, Cash sat. Sank limply into the soft cushion. At his brother’s order, a servant was immediately by his side, bowing as they held up a silver tray with yet another crystal champagne class. Cash took it, resisting the urge to down it all at once. Once his brother allowed him to go, he was going to drink himself into oblivion.
“Wonderful,” Plum replied pleasantly, leaning forward ever so slightly. “Now then. King Wine is incredibly urbane, so we will need to get your manners in order beforehand-“

The engagement ring had been given over to Cash through a marshal visiting the castle, so he had yet to meet his betrothed. The carriage shook under him as it travelled through the forest, but the cushions were stuffed. They were both sitting steady. Them, as in Cash and his manservant. Twist. A former thief and whore who Cash had, for reasons he didn’t even understand himself, picked up at a tavern when travelling through a few years ago. He was coming with him to his new kingdom – and so was Twist’s brother, who was in another carriage. Although he would never admit it to himself, jealousy grew in Cash whenever he saw the brothers interact.
So instead of admitting it, he studied the ring around his finger. It was a delicate thing, and gorgeous. Must’ve cost a fortune. The thought made him feel just a little better. The sunshine coming in through the window reflected in the gold – 24 carat, he’d had the royal jeweller check – and the purple amethysts and blood-red rubies.
“Ya ‘lright, precious?” Twist suddenly asked, making him jerk. Cash hissed as his head hit the wall, and the other snorted. Nevertheless, the concerned expression on his face remained.
Scowling, Cash rubbed the back of his head and nodded. His eye twitched in annoyance at how Twist studied him closely. Seriously. He really, really didn’t know why he’d made the other his manservant, or why he kept him. Who’d want such a disobedient, mouthy servant, really? Him, apparently.
“I’m fine, Twisted,” he snapped. Twist shrugged, but didn’t look very convinced. Throwing up his hands in the air, Cash continued, “My brother and His Majesty are only marrying me off to a complete stranger whose armies have never lost a battle under his command. Why wouldn’t I be fine?”
“I think ya jus’ described ‘t pretty well.”
With a growl, Cash turned to the window, staring at the trees flashing by. They would arrive during the afternoon, he’d been told. The sun had not yet risen to its highest point. Estimated, he had another six hours until he would be wed. Wed to King Wine the Unmerciful, as he’d heard the servants whisper. Not an especially catchy moniker, if you asked him.
He flinched when a hand gently touched his knee. Glancing at Twist, he could see the apologetic smile on the other’s face. Cash quickly turned away, he didn’t want to see it. Didn’t want to see that pitying gaze so many in the castle had worn when looking at him ever since it was made official.
“’M sorry, Patches, didn’ mean ta upset ya,” Twist said, voice soft.
Cash gave him the middle finger, causing Twist to grin. “Fuck off.”

Exactly on the border, a wedding temple had been built, specifically for this occasion. Half of it was in Cash’s homeland, and half was in King Wine’s. Most of the cost had been on the king, although Asriel too had added in with money to have it built. They did not want to seem greedy, after all, Cash thought with a bitter smile. When the carriage stopped, he could see a similar carriage on the other side of the temple. Where his was gold and light purple, King Wine’s was gold and black with crimson details. Among other things, red roses were painted onto the black doors.
When a page opened the carriage, Twist slipped out first to help him down. No matter how much Cash wished to tear his hand out of Twist’s and storm out of the carriage, he couldn’t. On the other side of the border, foreign nobles were watching. And on this side, Plum and Asriel were both giving him strict gazes. Behave, they said, or else.
It was with a crooked kind of pleasure Cash realized that within two hours he’d be of higher status than his brother. After the ceremony, he’d be a king consort whereas Plum was only the Royal Judge. Not of higher status than a royal. His mouth twisted into a smile as he met his brother’s gaze. There was something surprised in Plum’s eyes, as though he had not expected Cash to stare at him like this.
“Thi’ way, m’lord,” Twist hissed quietly, bowing his head even as he subtly elbowed Cash when he walked past him. The eye contact broke. Cash nodded. He held his head high as he walked into their side of the temple. Where he would be stripped of everything from his homeland, to truly leave it behind, before getting dressed in the clothes he had chosen for his wedding, made in his betrothed’s realm.
It was a wonder he’d received permission to bring two of his servants along. Normally, not even a pet would be allowed to be kept.

Twist was still hovering over him when he faced the door. Not quite touching him, but just… staying close. It was somewhat touching on the same time as it was incredibly annoying, and Cash couldn’t help but growl at him to get his shit together and back off. Which Twist of course was forced to obey, now when they were in the company of a whole miniature court.
Swallowing, Cash straightened out the white skirt of the dress he had opted to wear. The skirt was wide at the sides and back, with multiple layers of extra shirts and embroideries. Dresses gave a certain protection suits did not. Clasping his hands in front of him, he waited. Outside, the orchestra started to play. A drop of sweat slid down the back of his head.
It was happening. He was getting married to the king of Auron. The traditional wedding march began, and the golden door handles were turned. When the doors slid open, Cash faced a crowd of pastel-clothed nobles. White, red, and purple flowers covered the walls and the pillars. Everyone stared at him. At his cue, he inhaled deeply, and stepped over the threshold. Stepped over the border, into his new country.
When he did, Plum appeared at his side. Offered him his arm. Almost as though Plum could see the brief thought of refusing in his mind, his smile turned sharper. Cash took his arm, the purple velvet soft beneath his hand. Forcing a smile onto his face, he let Plum lead him toward the altar. His soul was pounding in his chest.
Then, up by the altar, he saw him. Cash’s breath hitched. With his hands neatly behind his back, King Wine met his eyes. His betrothed was wearing a completely white suit, except for a silver-embroidered waistcoat, and the golden crown on his head. By the altar, a second, smaller crown rested on a black silk pillow. But Cash wasn’t paying attention to that. Hot damn. He’d seen paintings, of course, but for the first time in his life, he could truthfully say the paintings didn’t do reality justice.
He must’ve frozen, because King Wine’s grin widened just a tad, and Plum hissed at him to “Move.” Shaking his head, Cash stared at the king as he walked up the low staircase. His heels clicked against the stone, even with the pastel pink carpet in-between. Then they stood opposite of each other, and King Wine held out his hand. His red eye shone, even as the other was void black. Almost limp, Cash watched Plum bow deeply as he placed his hand into his groom’s. The other’s teeth were sharper than even his brother’s, and white enough to almost sparkle in the daylight.
The ceremony was almost a blur, but that was mostly because Cash drowned it out. He said what he was supposed to, and smiled and nodded as he was supposed to. A trophy, that was what he was now, wasn’t he. Someone to be shown off as a pretty thing – “Aren’t I lucky to have this beautiful spouse? Aren’t you jealous?” – and to carry heirs. His breath caught in his throat. Children. He would be expected to carry children for this man.
Something feeling terrifyingly much like a sob made its way up his throat, and Cash’s eyes widened ever so slightly in panic. God no. He couldn’t cry. Not now. Not only would he completely humiliate himself, but who knew what would happen. What either his brother or his soon-husband would do? As his soul raced in his chest, he swallowed, and did it again, forcing it down. They were now facing the priest, and King Wine glanced at him from the corner of his eye. Cash was sure his smile wasn’t convincing, that it wobbled, but at least the king did look away. Suddenly, it was all over.
The priest declared, “You may now kiss the groom, Your Majesty.”
King Wine was just a little shorter than him, and they were both wearing heels. When he placed a surprisingly gentle palm on Cash’s cheek, Cash immediately leaned down, and their teeth pressed together. The kiss was brief, almost chaste. The priest declared them husband and husband, and an applause rose from the audience.
Unable to help it, Cash glanced over at Plum, where he stood just beneath the altar. He looked pleased, almost delighted, but he wasn’t watching Cash. Instead his eyes were on his new husband.
Suddenly, the tone of the event completely changed. The softer wedding music turned solemn, powerful, and King Wine let go off his hand, backing away. It took a moment for Cash to process it, before his eyes widened. Oh, right. His husband took the smaller crown of the pillow, nodding for him to kneel, and so he did. The corset strained a bit on his ribs, but Cash sank onto his knees, bowing his back and neck.
Staring at Wine’s shoes, he clenched his hands to keep himself from trembling. The questions were asked, and Cash monotonously rabbled his vows, to be a good consort and work for his people and blah blah blah who the fuck cared. It wasn’t like he was going to have any power anyway. A snort escaped him, although it luckily was drowned out by the king’s speech.
The crown was cold as it was placed on his skull, and King Wine offered his hand to help him rise. Cash wished he could ignore it as he accepted. He blinked when he received a smile before his husband turned to the audience, declaring, “All kneel before Cash, King Consort of Auron.”
And so everyone did. There was a shuffle as hundreds of people moved to kneel on the floor. Everyone, except Asriel and a few other rulers. For a fraction of a second, Cash’s and Asriel’s gazes crossed before Cash quickly turned away, hatred boiling inside of him. His eyes instead found Plum, who indeed was kneeling as well. Somehow, it made him uneasy, made his body wish to take a step backwards.
“Rise,” King Wine said, in the same moment Cash realized it. Plum was immediately on his feet, and he let out an unconscious sigh of relief. King Wine – or just Wine, Cash supposed, they were spouses now – tilted his head as he took Cash’s hand, intertwining their fingers.
Cash blinked at the unexpectedly gentle gesture. He was at a loss at what to do, and discomfort coiled in his stomach.
A loud crash echoed through the temple. He winced before, just like everyone else, turning toward the back of the temple to stare. There, a table full of refreshments had fallen over. Metal plates were rolling over the floor, and wine had spilled over the carpet. In the middle of it, Twist stood in his new Auronian uniform, grinning sheepishly. When he found Cash staring at him, he winked.
Cash couldn’t stop the groan building in his throat, and he facepalmed. Damn you, Twist.
“Whoops?” Twist said, sounding far too cheerful. “I’ll clean tha’ right ‘p.”
What's the age difference between the boys from Swaptwistfell? How old were they when Plum died and Cash met everyone? What about the age differences when Crisp was alive?
Okay, just to clarify, because I don’t want to give the wrong impression. Plum’s alive except in timelines when Cash comes to the Surface after a genocide run. That’s not part of the ‘canon’ for Swaptwistfell—that’s just for fics when I don’t really want to use him. “Crisp” on the other hand is a theoretical character. I won’t ever use him in a fic. For all intents and purposes, he does not exist.
Just wanted to get that out of the way.
