So i just wanted to give some more details on the Luka getting Marinette a bouquet. Luka didnt want to get Marinette generic red roses but he doesnt know enough about flowers to know which ones are great to give. Then he finds out flower language is a thing but since the internet keeps giving different meanings for the same flowers he decides he needs an actual expert to help him so on his day off he goes into the shop to ask but Marinette is there. Marinette is surprised to see him (1/?)

Normally he’d be happy to see and chat with Marinette but he really wanted to surprise her. Plus he didnt want her feeling obligated to return his feelings as he had no plans to reveal the flowers was from him so when asked what he was doing there he lied badly. Something about one of his teachers was pregnant and his class asked him to check out what flowers they could get for her. Marinette can tell hes lying but she needed to get back to work so leaves it alone. (2/?)

She wonders if Luka was buying flowers for someone special. At the end of the day she asks the frontend if he ended up buying any flowers. The cashier says no and a part of Marinette felt relieved. Wait why was she relieved? He was probably telling the truth. Luka meanwhile as he walks home is lightly berating himself for momentarily forgetting Marinette works there. He decides he’ll try calling the shop tomorrow for now he needs to meditate away the slight mistake he made today (3/?)

Luka calls the shop the next day. And he asks if Marinette was there today. The phone person is unsure how to answer and asks The Manager what to do. The Manager takes the phone and is not at all happy with the question and explains he can not divulge such information he has to protect his employees privacy. Luka realizing what he accidentally implied is quick to apologize and tries to explain his situation after some time he finally convinces the manager he wasnt a stalker or the like. (4/?)

The manager still says he can not give out employees schedules to the public but he can come in to talk about his custom order in 3 days. In those 3 days before Luka comes in the Manager verifies the information Luka provided that he worked at the pet shop next door and the manager asks Marinette about her friend that works next door which seemed to be a weird question out of the blue but told what she could of Luka. Did he come by? No not since that day. Huh. (5/?)

The Manager didnt miss the slight disappointment at that huh. Marinette’s day off comes and in comes Luka to the shop. The Manager was as helpful as can be with a book with pictures of all the flowers they had available. Luka asks questions about flower meanings and how much itd cost. Half an hour passes by the time they figure out the flowers he wants to give. (6/?)
