What do you think Shinjiro's favorite thing to cook is. Something difficult like a glazed ham roast or artsy like a masterpiece of salt baked seafood or something hearty like a stew to keep you warm and full or something he hardly ever gets to make and enjoys making it for you and it's a cutesy parfait

but I do think his favorite thing to cook would be something warm for you to eat every night when you come home, and if you’ve had a particularly bad day he pulls out all the stops and makes a full three-course meal, complete with that cutesy parfait

Cole is extremely touched by nicknames.  Not many people try them, but those who do are rewarded with a big grin and oddly worded musings about his new nickname.

If ever you hear sudden, gentle laughter from the corner, for no reason that you can determine, it’s because it took him two days to get a joke.

He sometimes pulls at his clothes when he’s nervous.  Flips his collar up, tugs at his cuffs, draws his coat tighter, and when very distressed pulls his hat down.
