February has been a wild month. I've been to the greatest party in the United States at New Orleans Mardi Gras. I witnessed the big wave surfing competition held in the history of the human race. I've taken top 3 places in sailboat races around Hawaii and have been on a boat torn apart by high winds, nearly battered to bits on a reef. I found a new home, love has come and gone. For the next two nights, I am homeless. I've returned to my usual spot, and am planning my next move. No regrets. 2016, you are a strange beast. Keep it coming. #sweet2016 #havecreditwilltravel #kokohead #mardigras #freedom (at Hawaii Yacht Club)
Feb 14, 15 and 16
On Sunday I went to the gym for a solo workout #23 for the year. I actually forgot that I already went twice early in the week (it's been a really long week!) so I thought it was the first time I wouldn't make my 3 a week but I did. On Monday I went to Pilates (workout #24) I spent $60 on a haircut and $60 on our grocery box for next week. I did 12,800 steps on Sunday (always get lots of steps up in the city) then was in training Monday so didn't get as many steps in as usual (9947 - so close!) so made sure I walked home the next day so I hit 11,700 steps. I also decided to give up sugar for lent (still eating fruit though) and after 5 days I'm waking up feeling amazing (and usually really not a morning person) I'm also feeling less hungry between meals so I'm just going to see how the next 40 days goes and how I feel.
Feb 11, 12 and 13
On the 11th I was so hungover (from being out drinking wine until 2am on a Wednesday night) I barely moved (only 2,500 steps!) Friday was better (12,200 steps) but Saturday I drove a four hour round trip to visit a friend so only did 5,400 steps. I also left before the gym opened and didn't get back until after it closed so I did no gym classes
Feb 8, 9 and 10
Completed classes #21 (the grid) and #22 (antigravity) I spent $25 on a game on iTunes (I'm actually so embarrassed about this but had to put it down out of honesty) and another $4.50 on parking at gym. 4,800k, 10,800 and 11,200 steps on these three days. Wearing it is motivating me to make more steps so I'm really enjoying it.
Feb 5, 6 and 7
Class #20 Powerplate cardio which we did as tabata (20 seconds on, 10 seconds off) was good except two lots of plank - holy hell do I suck at plank! I’m thinking that perhaps plank can be my March challenge? I spent $6.50 on an ebook and $4.50 on parking at the gym, $18 on movie tickets for next weekend and $15 on a Laneway learning class in a few weeks everything else was cash. Ive also been continuing to wear my jawbone - I did 11,000, 13,000 and 8,700k steps over these days.
