When you get this you have to answer with 5 things you like about yourself, publicly. then, send this ask to 10 of your favorite followers (non-negotiable, positivity is cool!!) 💕
this is so late, I’m so sorry!!!!
1. my sense of humour (which is super dark)
2. i guess my hair, eh, it’s super blonde
3. my compassion for others because I think that’s super important
4. my creativity because it’s how I come up with story and edit ideas
5. and i um guess, my talent of remembering stupid history facts
Hi! I adore The Last Kingdom too! What are your thoughts on Brida?
Oooh, you know what? Mixed feelings on that. Beginning of s1 I liked her, then she started hating on Uhtred because of things spiralling out of his control (his oath to Alfred and all, then his RENEWED oath). I didn’t like her for a while but she got hella pretty so then I was like,,, 🤷🏼♀️. But then she lost Ragnar!!! And I felt so sorry for her. Cnut is an ugly stupid dwarf and I hate that he’s using her. I was really happy when Brida and Uhtred had their reconciliation so I’m kinda ambiguous right now. I know she’s not on his side but I don’t hate her while not loving her. What about you? :D
Hi! Jaime Lannister or Gendry Baratheon?
Hi Sweet !
Jaime without hesitation. I like Gendry but he is less here and not a main character ( even if he is important). Gendry is nicer than Jaime and i really like him but he is not really evolving much or at least not as a person ( even if he became lord of stormsend by the end of the show). Jaime is just this kind of character you love to hate and then learn to love and he give me much more emotion than Gendry .
Hi! I just wanted to check with you about the A03 collection as it seems to have disappeared? Thank you! :)
Hey, it didn't disappear, we just changed the name slightly! The collection is right here!
books read in 2020: empress- the astonishing reign of nur jahan by ruby lal (★★★★★)
in the centuries that followed, the caricatures of a besotted, drunken emperor jahangir came to dominate the public imagination as the most likely explanation for nur's power. and the woman who married jahangir....and ruled with him, was reduced to a paradigm of flighty romantic love. yet in the shahjahani histories, in her coins and monuments, in the work of feminist scholars, a much richer and more complete story of nur's achievements resides. it is as if, no matter what, some people will themselves into history.
sansa stark appreciation week 2020: day 6 ~ sansa's antagonists
I ought to have shown her to the black cells as the daughter of a traitor, but instead I made her part of mine own household.... I fed her, dressed her, tried to make her a little less ignorant about the world, and how did she repay me for my kindness? She helped murder my son.
