Haladie (Hal) Sweete, modeled after my favorite author's second most popular character. He said "Let's grasp the ineffable and see if we can't eff it after all." While that character as a person is not likable (though he manages to soften up and be less of a jerk to people), I thought, "Why isn't there a female version?" There certainly are similar types: the sauron in Dr Who; Sherlocks young sister; that's all I can think of. I've been imagining Haladie for several years now and it's time I bring her forth, show her the next mystery, and hope I can keep her interesting.
I should just start doing it, yeah? Yeah...
