The fact that not only did aang initially give up the avatar state cause katara was in trouble but also ended up trying to get it back because katara was in trouble is something so personal to me

Full offense, but only Phoebe Waller-Bridge could end a show with the main character not ending up with their love interest (and it’s the last fucking scene of the show even) and still have an amazing and satisfying ending that makes sense and the viewers love. Nobody else has the talent.

Y’all. The contrast between Malcolm and Eve & Malcolm and Dani is just so amazing. Malcolm and Eve tend to hide things from each other and don’t tell each other the whole truth. Where as from the beginning Malcolm and Dani have slowly but surely tried to be as truthful as they could be to each other, and now are completely honest with each other. So much so that Malcolm immediately tells Dani what happened with Eve. No hiding, no secrecy, nothing. Just honesty.

Ross waiting up for Demelza, just as she had done, and comforting her when she comes home because he now knows what it’s like to be hurt by someone you love, and Demelza coming home and crying in his arms because she now knows what it’s like to hurt someone you love is the saddest parallel ever.
