Currently searching for Black Male Actors for a work-in-progress showing of storytelling play “Sweet Like Chocolate, Boy” on the 1st April 2017 & 5th April 2017 at the Cockpit and New Diorama Theatres!

Written By Tristan Fynn-Aiduenu, Sweet Like Chocolate, Boy is a merging of timelines, lives, fantasy, reality, garage and the broiling estates of London.

It is a theatre piece about two black boys who are growing up in the same estate but are two decades apart. Their realities merge in one day; a day that sees the combustion of their tower-block worlds.

The play explores themes of depression, New black consciousness, responsibility, masculinity and ultimately hope in both present day and 90’s London.

BOUNTY: A boy becoming a man from 80s to 90s Britain, Bounty is in awe of the different facets of blackness circling around him. However, he is struggling to keep his head above water when the smoke of the past comes to drown him and all he loves.
