It's Been Two Years | Cheren and Bianca
Things had changed quite a bit in the two years. Cheren had grown for the better. At least he liked to think so. He had studied and worked hard to get to where he was today. He found himself to be relatively successful. He had gained the title of gym leader of Aspertia City. He ran his own school, teaching children about Pokemon battles and the best way to train their Pokemon. They looked up to him. They idolized him. He was their hero. He had been told so many many times before. He was a hit! He was a person that he, himself, could be proud of.
Still, that didn't fill the emptiness he felt. A hole that couldn't quite be filled on his own. It seemed that Cheren was actually missing his friends. Yes, friends. At the time, he had thought Bianca to be annoying. She was simply Touko's friend. They had been known as a trio, but he had never thought of Bianca to be his friend. She had always been energetic yet shy. She was always friendly and bubbly. It was features that he didn't entirely enjoy himself. These days, though, he had grown. He thought quite often about his friends. He realized that Bianca had been a friend of his. She had always been there to help not only Touko, but him as well. She was stronger than she seemed. She was sweet. Caring. It was things that he never really appreciated about her back then. Things that he realized were good features.
A sigh let the gym leader's lips as he drummed his fingers on his desk, blue eyes looking to the clock that ticked away on the clock. Seven o'clock. It was time to close up the gym for the day and head back home. He gathered his books from the desk, placing them in a neat pile on his desk and finally locking up his office for the day. Just as he walked out into the main hall, a familiar form caught his attention. "Bianca....? Is that you...?" It couldn't be, could it? He hadn't seen her in nearly two years now! He had never known what had become of her. Could she really be here?
