In the World Garden at the Royal Horticultural Society Garden Hyde Hall, Essex, UK, a range of Capsicum annuum cultivars (bonnet pepper, chilli pepper, red pepper, sweet pepper) were fruiting in the glasshouse. These South and Central America plants are grown as annual or perennial plants often depending on the frost protection available.

Dinner time. August 19th ‘19.

I am so proud of this meal. My first ever salsa that turned out amazingly good. I had it with pork (pečenka) typical baked pork in Croatia. Wish I had someone close to me to give it a try damn!! Okay so it contains tomato, cucumber, onion, watermelon, lemon juice, chilli pepper seasoning and sweet pepper seasoning. Uhhh. The freshness, the taste. Watermelon gave an amazing sweetness and freshness to it all. I am so proud of it. Can’t wait to make it for someone again 😋
